violentome @ Plymouth Arts Centre

In 2007 we were commissioned by Plymouth Arts Centre to show evidence of a client case study from beginning to end. We transformed the gallery into 3 sections - Opinion Frame Analysis, Absorption and Final Solution Realisation where we illustrated the process of how we (used to) research and develop our solutions. Our client Stephen Humphries was treated to a WITH agent performing a fictional violent act on his behalf, so that he could get his own back on a bully from his past without causing any actual harm.

The exhibition was curated by Paula Orrell and Emma Ridgway (curator of British Pavilion at Venice Biennial 2022) wrote an essay about the project for the book Between the Vanguard and the Peripheral. Other press included articles in the Guardian, Big Issue and Art Review.
